Closing occurred seamlessly last night.

I wish to you thank Gene, Amanda and Home State for all of your help. I appreciate your timliness and professionalism throughout the whole process. It has been about 7 years since our last refinance and many people told me that the process is now tedious and takes a long time, but I am happy to say that was not my experience.

Being in the financial services business as a senior assistant to a principal of a broker/dealer for 30+ years, I understand the position of an assistant VERY well. If the paperwork isn’t done correctly or efficiently…everyone loses. Amanda certainly kept things rolling and was very pleasant to talk to along the way answering all questions (sometimes twice). She should be commended for her professionalism and I appreciate her assistance.

At this point, I have refinanced with Gene two times. The first time I did a loan consolidation, with cash-out to refinance an addition to my home. Gene was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to him, everything went smooth and in a timely manner.

A couple of months, later Gene called me to let me know that a program is available where I could save about $100 a month on my payments. After discussing it with him, I realized that it is something that I would like to do. I appreciate Gene’s work in keeping me in mind after the initial refinancing, and watching after my interests. I know that I will work with him and HomeState Mortgage again in the future. I would also recommend him to anyone who is looking for a mortgage.
